                                                                                                         Trama

Basata sull'omonimo libro illustrato di Graeme Base, questa serie ha per protagonisti i piccoli Alex e Zoe, i quali, tramite una porta segreta di una biblioteca, giungono nel mondo di Animalia, dove gli animali vivono e sono in grado di parlare come gli esseri umani in un ambiente molto civilizzato. Inizialmente considerati come dei mostri primitivi, Alex e Zoe vengono poi accettati dagli abitanti di questo mondo, in particolare dal gorilla G'Bubu e dall'iguana Iggy, di cui diventano grandi amici; in seguito, i due bambini forniranno il loro aiuto agli animali contro una terribile minaccia che sta per sconvolgere le loro vite.
