Buffalo Bau è lo sceriffo di una sperduta contea nel sud del Mississippi, in cui è impegnato di volta in volta a ristabilire l'ordine. Tra i suoi compagni di avventure, vi sono il procione Ty-Coon, la talpa Vincent Van Gopher,che porta sempre un cappellino da pittore, e, soprattutto, il sagace opossum Rat Muskrat, spesso intento ad organizzare delle marachelle ai danni di Buffalo Bau.

Gli episodi di questo cartone sono stati trasmessi sulle reti italiane soprattutto come riempitivo.
