Serie ispirata all'omonimo personaggio dei fumetti creato da Robert Ervin Howard.

In un’epoca lontana, dove convivono maghi e demoni, tra incantesimi ed orrori, un cimmero di nome Conan conduce un’esistenza all’insegna dell’avventura e della straordinarietà.
Dotato di occhi scuri, capelli corvini e di un corpo muscoloso, il temibile barbaro non lesina, durante il suo peregrinare, momenti di inaudita violenza seguiti da attimi di malinconia e cupezza, sempre proteso a calpestare troni, ammaliare fanciulle e sconfiggere nemici.
Le sanguinarie battaglie sono ambientate nel violento mondo di Hyborea, leggendaria terra di reami, barbari e stregoni in cui, come insegna lo stesso protagonista, ogni uomo può diventare un eroe. Guerriero invincibile e predone feroce, Conan racchiude in sé le sfaccettature più istintive dell’animo umano: egli sa essere spietato con gli avversari, estremamente leale nei confronti degli amici ed assolutamente incontrollabile davanti al fascino di una bella donna, soprattutto se in abiti succinti.

Sono stati anche realizzati tre film su questo personaggio - Conan il barbaro, Conan il distruttore e Conan the Barbarian - che, nei primi due lungometraggi, è stato interpretato da Arnold Schwarzenegger.
