Protagonisti di questo cartone sono il gatto Jason ed il suo aiutante, il topo Toledo: essi sono due supereroi che, partendo dalla loro base segreta (la Cat Caverna) non appena sul loro televisore compare il Cat segnale, raggiungono la scena del crimine a bordo di un'autovettura denominata Cat Mobile - in grado di trasformarsi, all'occorrenza, in un aereo od in un sommergibile - e combattono contro i malviventi di Empire City.

Gli episodi, essendo di breve durata, venivano usati negli USA come riempitivo per film e show televisivi.

Questa serie animata è stata creata da Bob Kane come parodia di un suo precedente e più noto personaggio dei fumetti creato nel 1939: Batman.
