Serie ambientata in Francia e basata sui libri di Ludwig Bemelmans, che è incentrata su un gruppo di bambine che frequentano una scuola cattolica femminile di Parigi e sono tutte vestite di giallo, una delle quali è la protagonista Madeline, che vive delle fantastiche avventure in compagnia di Miss Clavel e Pepito.

Esiste una precedente serie composta da sei episodi su Madeline, ma è rimasta inedita in Italia.

Dalla serie è stato tratto il film d’animazione “Madeline: Lost in Paris”.
